Russell, James A. of Boston, died November 23, 2022.

Jim was passionate about traveling, art, and the people in his life. He enjoyed traveling extensively all over the world with his life partner Stephen. He had a love for music and the performing arts. He created hundreds of his own beautiful contemporary art and print masterpieces over the years. Jim was a kind and gentle man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Beloved life partner of Stephen Talbot of Quincy. Loving son of the late Arthur and Cookie Addario Russell. Cherished brother of Elisa Pedersen of Cheshire, CT and adoring uncle of Craig, Scott, and Erik Pedersen. Also survived by many cousins and extended members of the Pasqualoni and Addario families in CT. And survived by all of the loving members of Stephen’s immediate family, including cousins and many close friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Saturday, December 3rd at 10 AM in St. Ann’s Church, 757 Hancock St., Quincy, MA 02170. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim may be made to MSPCA-Angell, Attn: Donations, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. Stephen will have a Celebration of Life for Jim later in the winter at the Seaport in Boston. Details to follow.
