Mrs. Elvira Y. “Vera” (Randazzo) Petrikas, of Weymouth, passed away on  February 21, 2018.

Born in Selena, Italy, Vera was raised and lived many years in Quincy before moving to Weymouth in 1956. Vera was a former supervisor at Electroswitch in Weymouth for 18 years. She always enjoyed playing Bingo, and working the flea market booth and going to antique shops with her beloved sister, Mary on weekends. A fan of Elvis Presley, she will be dearly missed by her beloved family.

Beloved wife of the late Albert W. Petrikas.

Loving mother of Frances Gerstel and her husband, Walter, of Plymouth, Charles Petrikas of New Hampshire, Richard Petrikas and his wife, Karen, of Weymouth, Nancy Meurch and her husband, Frank, of Florida, and Jeffrey Petrikas of E. Bridgewater. Sister of the late Anne Leavitt, Mary Proietti, and Anthony Randazzo. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
