Elizabeth M. “Betty” (Powers) Hunt of South Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester, died September 20, 2021 at the age of 94.
Betty worked as a loan officer at Rockland Credit Union. She enjoyed traveling, line dancing, tai chi and socializing with others at the Whipple Senior Center in Weymouth.
Wife of the late Michael Thomas Hunt. Loving mother of Elizabeth Ann Brooks of Hanson, Thomas F. Hunt of Kingston, Mitchell Hunt of Duxbury, Robert J. Hunt, and Christopher Hunt, both of Rockland. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Evelyn Morey, James Powers, Margaret Morey, Estelle Billings, Lorraine Spencer, Rita Gorman, John Powers, Walter Powers, and Eunice Powers. Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, 234 Pleasant St., Weymouth Tuesday at 10 AM. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Weymouth.
