Elizabeth Ann Karger

Elizabeth Ann Karger “Liz” also known by her Relatives as “Betty Ann Lee” age 46 died on May 22nd 2016 at her Home in Quincy from complications of Heart Failure.

Elizabeth was born in Boston Ma, and raised and educated in Middleboro MA. She was a Graduate from Quincy College. She attended Hair Dressing School and Bartending School where she then pursued a Career Bartending at several Restaurants and Pubs in the South Shore and Boston area. Liz also loved cooking and had Dreams of one day opening her own Restaurant. She even had her own Catering company for a short time called “Dizzy Lizzy’s Kitchen”.  She was well known for her cooking and baking around the South Shore. Especially known for her special pies she made around the holidays. She also loved plants and gardening. Most of her recipes were grown in her garden. 

Daughter, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Friend and Aunt, Liz was everything to her Family and held the key to their Hearts. She was devoted to her Family and Friends.  She was the Loving Mother to Brigette Karger and Brandon Conover. Devoted Grandmother to Hailey-Marie, Parker and Miley. 

She is survived by her Mother Darlene Bowman and her husband Charles of Indianapolis, Indiana and her Late Husband Milton Karger of Middleboro Ma, Her late Father Harold R. Lee and Stepmother Sharon Lee of Netcong New Jersey. Liz was a devoted and loving Sister to her Siblings. Vonnie Collette and her husband Timothy Collette of Raynham Ma, Jean Karger and her Fiancé Raul Bellanich of Quincy Ma, Brian Karger of Chehalis Washington, Sean Lee and his Fiancé Kelly Sullivan of Weymouth Ma, Jennifer Soule of Middleboro Ma, Scott Randall of Quincy Ma, Richie Lee of Stanhope New Jersey Sheila Lee of Netcong New Jersey, Janet Karger of Milton MA, Nancy Karger of Brookline MA and Richard Karger of Florida. 

She is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews including Michelle Garafalo and Kailey Ann Smith, Arianna and Patrick Lee, Andre and Alyssa Maroney, Devin Collette and Douglas, Jonathan, Phinehas and Braelyn Karger. She was also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Her companion Bill Dayton and Dear Friends Andy Haer and Steve Sherlock.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours from 4-8 PM on Tuesday May 31st at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy, followed by a funeral service on Wednesday June 1st at 10 AM at St Thomas Church in Braintree on Hawthorne Rd. Then followed by a celebration of Liz’s Life gathered by Family and Friends at the Braintree Moose Lodge 175 E Howard Street Quincy, MA 02169.
