Evans, Edmond “Ned” of Whitman, died August 21, 2016.

Ned was born and raised in Pittsfield, and was a graduate of Salem State earning his Bachelors in Business. An avid football and Boston sports fan, Ned also enjoyed biking and spending time outdoors.

Cherished father of Shannon Bonneau and her husband Jason of Braintree and Kerry Evans of Weymouth. Treasured Grampy of Joshua and Isabel. Loving brother of Mary Ellen Duffy and her husband Pat of San Diego, CA and the late Patty Anne Jakacky and her husband Frank. Son of the late Edmond and Katherine Evans. Former husband of Karen Sullivan Evans. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Cremation will follow.
