Summers, Claire M. (Carroll) of Quincy, formerly of Canton, died October 6, 2017.

Beloved wife of the late John V. Summers. Loving mother of Lynn Summers of Ventura, CA, Stephen Summers and his partner Glen Gonzalez of Houston, TX, John Summers and his wife Rosetta of Braintree, and the late Scott Summers. Grandmother to Alessandra, Michael, Juliana, Thomas, John, and Gigi. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Claire worked at Carney Hospital for 20 years, starting as a volunteer, eventually becoming the Manager of the Emergency Department. She also worked as the Office Manager for Dr. Arthur Bregoli in Braintree for over 20 years. Claire also enjoyed spending time with her friends at Marina Bay. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare’s Church, Braintree, at 10 AM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph.
