Barbara M. (Doherty) Sammeli, 90 years old, passed away December 6th, 2016 in Hingham.
Beloved wife of the late Sigured W. Sammeli. She was born in Medford, MA and was a resident of Quincy for many years. She and her husband retired and moved to Harwich. After the death of her husband, she returned to Quincy. She was a retired Personnel Staffing Specialist for the Federal Government.
She is survived by two cousins, Susan Lahue of North Carolina and Robert Hurley of Arizona. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Laila Takki of Hingham and her nephews, John Takki of Taunton, Daniel Takki of Hingham, David Takki of Marshfield, Mark Tuori of VA and Michael Tuori of CA.
Burial on Thursday at 11:15 AM in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Barbara may be made to Pat Roche Hospice Home, 86 Turkey Hill Lane, Hingham, MA 02043.
