Anne (Nancy) C. Preskins (Loughnane) of East Weymouth, formerly of South Boston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 13, 2023. She was 85 years old.

Born in South Boston, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Nellie Loughnane. She graduated from the Gate of Heaven School  in 1955. She met her husband, Bob, while attending a dance at the South Boston Yacht Club and they were married  for 62 years. Anne was a manager of McDonald’s Restaurant for over twenty years.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society and volunteered her time at The Whipple Senior Center in Weymouth and was on their Executive board.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends  in NH. She enjoyed traveling to Italy, Aruba and to  Ireland to visit her cousins, the Gaffey family.

Beloved wife of 62 years of Robert D. Preskins.  Cherished mother of Stephanie Schademan and her husband Harvey of  PA,  Robert  D Preskins Jr. and his wife Dafne of Whitman, Christine P. Fetter and her husband Edward of Weymouth and Shawn Preskins of CO. Dear sister of Josephine Loughnane of Hull. She leaves behind 8 adored grandchildren; Emily, Mollie, Cassie, Jackson, Abigail, Josh, Cooper and Ian. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Helen Moloney and Mary Foley.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
