Mr. Andrew W. “Andy” Clifford, of South Weymouth, passed away on June 25, 2017.

Andy was a brave young man who confronted numerous medical challenges in his short life and who touched the hearts of all who met him.  He was always concerned with the well being of others and always wanted to be loved in turn.  Although Andy spent much time as a patient at Boston Children’s Hospital  he was always grateful for the kindness shown and the friendships that were made among the nurses, doctors and staff. He loved to share his drawings, music, writings and paintings with his family and friends. Andy’s infectious smile and trusting innocence will be missed by all, but not forgotten.

Beloved son of Timothy G. Clifford and the late Lynne M. (Modestino) Clifford.

Brother of Nicholas Clifford.  Also survived by his half brother Luke Clifford. Grandson of Gerald and Theresa Clifford and William and Brenda Modestiino. Nephew of Marcia Clifford and her husband, John Sutcliffe, Mary Dipirro and her husband, Jim, and Karen Ahearn and her husband, Stephen, and the late William Modestino, Jr. Also survived by several cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, South Weymouth.
