Amy J. Callahan of Dorchester, passed away August 18, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Amy was a long time resident of Dorchester, previously living in Quincy and New Bedford. She enjoyed camping, going to the beach, spending time at the family cottage in New Hampshire, and anything that brought family and friends together. Her quick wit, contagious humor brought life to any gathering. Amy will be remembered for her kind heart, strong will, and being there for anyone in need. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten, and always loved.
Loving daughter to the late Michael Callahan and the late Teresa Callahan (Waszkiewicz). Cherished mother to the late Andrew Cunningham, survived by her daughter Kayla Cunningham and her fiancé Derek Bille of Quincy, and stepson Joseph Mulvey of New Bedford. Soon to be Nana to Drew Bille. Beloved sister to Michael Callahan and his wife Kate of Sagamore Beach, Kevin Callahan of TX, James Callahan of Dorchester, and Kristi Rooney of Weymouth. Long time partner to Billy Mulvey of New Bedford. Amy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
