Marion Greeley

Marion (Toro) Greeley of New Bern, NC, formerly of Weymouth, died October 8, 2018.

Marion was Comptroller at Quincy Medical Supply for many years.  She was a long-time parishioner at St. Brigid’s Church in South Boston where she sang with the choir for 8 years.  Marion was a great Sicilian cook and baker and was happiest when surrounded by friends and family. In her younger years, while living in South Boston, she loved to sing opera and neighbors would open their windows to enjoy her singing voice.

Devoted wife of the late Vincent P. Greeley (Guariglia). Beloved Mother of V. Richard Greeley (Donna) of Halifax, Robert Greeley of Athol, the late Paul Guariglia, and Dona Baker (Douglas) of NC who lovingly cared for her in their home for 15 years. Loving sister of Joseph Toro of AR and the late Jean Mallard. Cherished Nana of six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Marion was the devoted daughter of the late Giuseppi and Giovaninna Toro.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 11am – 1pm in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

Funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 1pm.

Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Boston.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marion may be made to The Salvation Army, Massachusetts Division, 25 Shawmut Road, Canton, MA 02021.
