Faulkner, Joan L. (Petipas) of Weymouth, died June 14, 2018. She was 86.

Joan worked for Electroswitch for 25 years before retiring. She enjoyed reading and was an avid New England sports fan. Joan was happiest when surrounded by family. Joan’s family would like to thank the terrific staff at Hancock Park, where they were like family to Joan and her family.   

Beloved wife of the late George Faulkner. Devoted mother of Michael Faulkner and his wife Catherine, Jon Faulkner and his wife Elizabeth (Gambon), Merry McDonald and her husband Scott, all of Weymouth, and the late Steven Faulkner. Mother-in-law of Renee Faulkner of FL. Cherished Nana of 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Loving sister of the late Yvonne Barker. Also survived by nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
