Harrington, George A., Jr. of Quincy, died November 24, 2017.

George graduated from North Quincy High School in 1958 and worked at Quincy City Hospital.  During the last decade of his life George was a resident at Hancock Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Quincy where he was beloved by the staff and other residents for his kind and friendly nature.  George was a member of the North Quincy Knights of Columbus, and was a fan of the Red Sox and the Patriots.  Many North Quincy people will remember George as the young man who walked everywhere, and attended Mass at Sacred Heart Church.

Son of the late George A. Harrington and Irene C. (Drew) Harrington.  George leaves many cousins and his friends at Hancock Park. All who knew him can attest that George never met a stranger.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, 44 School Street, Quincy, Friday, December 15, 2017 at 10:00 AM.  Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
