Gioioso, Libera M. (Feccia) “Lina” of Braintree, died October 14, 2017. She was 85.

Lina was a true matriarch who was fiercely devoted to her family. She was a skilled seamstress, an excellent cook, an avid gardener and a woman of devout faith. Lina was also a member of the Braintree Sons of Italy. She will be sadly missed.

Beloved wife of the late Tommaso Gioioso. Devoted mother of Joanne Donovan and her husband Martin of Abington, Paul Gioioso and his wife Sharon of Assonet, Francesca Curran and her husband Glen of Duxbury, Tommaso Gioioso of Braintree and Roger Gioioso and his wife Joelle of Hanover. Cherished Grammy of 11 grandchildren and Nonna to 10 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Ruggiero and Angelina Feccia. Loving sister of Regina DiTullio of Jamaica Plain and the late Francesco Feccia. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare’s Church, Braintree at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
