Margaret Maubourquette

Margaret (Lawler) Maubourquette of Quincy, died May 16, 2017. She was 78.
Cherished mother of Andrea Maubourquette and her fiance Jeff Brooks of Salem, Pamela Maubourquette and her partner Will Santos of Roslindale, and Jeff Maubourquette and his wife Stacy of Dedham. Former wife of the late Paul J. Maubourquette. Sister of Madeleine “Cookie” Ciarcia of Quincy. Devoted grandmother of Dominic Livolsi and Celeste Jeane Maubourquette. Life companion of Bill Phillips of Quincy. Aunt of Christopher Ciarcia and Michele Fowler. Sister-in-Law of the late Joseph Ciarcia, and John Monty and his wife Virginia of Quincy. Margaret served in the United States Airforce and she was very proud of her military service. She was retired from her careers as a lab technician and as a bookkeeper for Local Union 88. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed spending time on social media, where she made many new friends worldwide. She enjoyed gardening and loved to spend time at her pool. An avid reader, she had a passion for mysteries and loved to explore and learn about the history of her hometown Boston.
Peg’s grandchildren were her greatest source of pride and joy. She was taken too soon and she will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are respectfully encouraged to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Church, Quincy on Monday, May 22  at 10:30 AM. In keeping with Peg’s wishes, a casual gathering will follow the service at the home of her sister, Cookie. All family and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
