Edith C. Seegraber

Edith C. (Walker) Seegraber of Quincy, died April 29, 2016.

Edith grew up in Boston, graduating from the High School of Practical Arts. She lived in Quincy for 47 years. The youngest of 10 children, Edith also had 10 children of her own and was devoted to her family. She loved children and enjoyed travel, reading, crossword puzzles, Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit. She will be remembered for her calm, patient, caring and loving nature.

Beloved wife of 44 years to the late Frank J. Seegraber, Sr.  Devoted mother of Barbara Seegraber and her husband Albert Patrick of Quincy, Frank J. Seegraber, Jr. and his wife Diana Andrews of Montana, Jean Seegraber of Quincy, Rita Seegraber and her late husband Michael Kelly of Quincy, Claire Brennan and her husband James of Weymouth, Richard Seegraber and his wife Laura Svec of Minnesota, Lori Seegraber of Quincy, Carol Murray and her husband Richard of Quincy, John Seegraber of Quincy and Paul Seegraber and his wife Gail of Quincy. Cherished Nana of David, Michael, Angela, Andrew, Sarah, Timothy, Rebecca and great-grandchildren Linda and Daya. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. 

Those who wish may also gather at the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM.

Private burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston at a later date.
