Marie A. Ingram

Ingram, Marie A. (Flanagan) of Quincy – OFD, died at home surrounded by the family she cherished on March 26, 2015 after a long illness.

Marie was born and raised in Dorchester. She graduated from St. Ann’s Grammer School and then Cardinal Cushing High School in South Boston. Marie had a passion for singing and a great sense of humor. The cornerstone of her life was her family, she cherished them and in return they adored her. She was their rock and they will remember her as a devoted wife and mother who was kind and strong.  Although they are heart broken, they are grateful for all the blessings she brought into their lives. Marie will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.

The beloved wife of Sean Ingram of Quincy, devoted mother of Gregory and Nikki Ingram both of Quincy. Cherished daughter of Joseph and Patricia (O’Malley) Flanagan of Dorchester. Loving sister of Joseph Flanagan of West Roxbury, Paul Flanagan of Hingham, James Flanagan of Somerville and Susan Flibotte of Hingham. Sister in Law of Janet Steele of Braintree, Thomas Ingram of Tuson, AZ, Susan Ingram of Randolph and the late Patricia Kelley. Marie is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her longtime dear friends the “Pinkies.”

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Marie may be made to National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave #2, Norwood, MA 02062.
