Keohane Funeral Home

Mullin, Catherine R. (Quatromoni) of Wollaston, died peacefully September 12, 2014 after a long illness.

The beloved wife of the late Luke A. Mullin. Loving mother of  Luke P. Mullin and his wife Susan of Wollaston, Laura A. Grant and her husband Daniel of Holbrook,  Diane M. Toland  and her husband Michael of Canton and the late Rita Catherine Mullin. Sister of Marie Martell of FL and the late Henry P. Quatromoni. Cherished Nana of Christopher, Thomas and Michael Grant of Holbrook and Luke and Kevin Toland of Canton.

Catherine first worked at the Army base in South Boston where she met her husband of 40 years. After raising her family she worked as a parking attendant at Wollaston train station. It was there that she made many friends and stayed in that position for more than 20 years before retiring. A devout Catholic,  Catherine also enjoyed crocheting, reading, cooking and attending church groups, but nothing gave her as much pleasure as her family. She was devoted to them all and always put them ahead of herself. Catherine will be remembered as a kind, loving and faithful woman with a great sense of humor. She will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church – Holbrook,  at 10:30 AM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
