Crotty, Jeanette A. (Hurt) of Milton, died suddenly July 18, 2014.

Jenny was born, raised, and educated in Manhattan. Jenny graduated from the Bellevue School of Nursing in NY where she met, and later married Matthew, her husband of 52 years. Jenny and Matt married in 1942 and soon after moved to Quincy, MA where they raised their family. Jenny was loved by all and admired by many for her zest for life, love of God and love of adventure.

Jenny was predeceased by her beloved husband Matthew. Devoted mother to Janet Neely of Carver and Elizabeth Fox of Brockton, sister to August Hurt of TX and Mary Stickney of TX. Also is survived by 4 grandchildren Michael Jonah of Brockton, MA, Robert Cipollone of Braintree, MA, Timothy Jonah and his wife Ann Marie of North Quincy, MA, and Christina Cipollone of Brockton, 9 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock St., Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
