Condolences to the Family of Ralph Edward Frazier

2024

I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the entire Frazier family. I had the honor of playing for Coach Frazier (NQHS Class of 1971) and I have taken the lessons in life that I learned from Coach Frazier with me for my entire life. In fact, much of what I learned I have passed on to my own children and grandchildren. Coach Frazier was a winner! He was demanding and I am forever thankful for that. Thank you Coach Frazier for all you have done for so many. You will never be forgotten.

Condolences to Coach Frazier's family. I attended NQHS 71-74. I helped with the soccer team and had access to the gym during studies and lunch. I recall many times when Coach Frazier, with his booming voice would clear the locker room of students. Return to the coach's room and I would see a very different side of him. In fact on many occasions he and I would engage in some very competitive games of ping pong. Thanks coach. Rest in peace Coach Frazier. Larry McGue - Weymouth MA NQHS-74

Sincere Condolences to Frazier Family. Teacher,Coach, Mentor. Ralph Frazier epitomized these avocations throughout his life. He sincerely cared and guided many through youthful challenges. He was a “father figure “ to many. Demanding yet fair he made us all better individuals by his example. We were blessed to have Ralph Frazier as our coach. 🙏🏻

Coach Ralph Frazier touched my life while playing in the NQHS Alumni Golf Tournament years ago! He was a phenomenal leader and mentor to many over the years which is why he came into my life. Coach Frazier inadvertently touched my life when John Flynn & Bob Morton pulled my name in the club house and matched to the Coach and then I yelled “I’m Sorry” for being picked as your partner. Bobby relayed that it wasn’t the first time the Coach heard “I’m Sorry” in trying to mediate the issue. Few years later, I was again touched by the Coach while golfing with John Flynn. John hit a long drive off an elevated tee and guess who we saw when John stopped his cart after approaching his ball on the adjacent fairway - Coach Frazier! The Coach asked Johnny what he planned to do! John struck the ball and the golf ball did exactly what Johnny told the Coach it would do. The Coach shook his head and mumbled something that he & John Flynn understood as he walked back to his cart! Truly amazing in retrospect! I would follow the Coach anywhere . . . anytime! It was an honor to introduce my daughter to the Coach at the golf tournament which was the final time the Coach touched my life!! I’ll miss him greatly!

Ralph I remember as a no-nonsense loving father of my lifelong childhood friend Katie. Always kind and welcoming and a wonderful role model for the youth he came in contact with. The world could use more men like him and he will be missed by all who knew him, rest in peace.
