I'm so sorry to hear of Paula's passing. She was a wonderful teacher, and I greatly enjoyed the trips to Europe I went on with her during my time at Thayer.

So sorry to hear of Paula’s passing. She was a wonderful teacher and friend at Thayer. My deepest condolences to her family.

To me, Paula was so much more than a cousin. She was an older sister to me as her pesky younger brother with a twelve year age difference. I spent so much time at her house along with my beloved Uncle Red (Moe) and Auntie Carmella. So many happy memories, some the best of my life! Paula was always a force then as a teenager starting her life's journey and throughout the rest of her life. Her loss leaves a hole in all our lives. Rest in Peace Paula, you ran a great race!

Paula was a long-time colleague in education who became a life-long friend. Her career at Thayer was remarkable: her learning, study, and critical thinking skills, together with her solid lesson plans in writing, speaking, grammar and literature thoroughly prepared her students not only for the higher levels of this discipline but for life itself. She also inaugurated and superintended programs in interdisciplinary studies, designed sterling field trips, and designed and chaperoned student vacation trips to France, England and Italy to enhance their learning. Her care and effort were tireless, and during her more-than-two decades tenure, she was the gold of the Thayer Academy English Department. It is said that a great teacher lives forever in the hearts of her students. There could be no truer tribute than this one for Mrs. Paula Bruneau.

So very sad to hear about Paula’s passing. I have many memories living across the street for thirty years. My absolute best to her family during this difficult time.
