Pat transformed both the Boston Public Schools and it's teacher's union - the BTU. A true educator, she met her Bill at Quincy (then Junior) College and she was his equal partner as promoter's of building a better world. Bill passed away in the mid 1980's and left us with the lesson of fully embracing life's challenges and wonders that for him included having had a physical disability since birth. Bill+Pat showed true Ecumenism, from the Greek word “oikoumene,” meaning “the whole inhabited world,” is the promotion of cooperation and unity among Christians. They lived life well - with enthusiasm. Reunited !
