I worked with Sara at Nantucket Cottage Hospital, she was one of the nicest people I know, her kindness will be missed by many hearts she touched, I will miss her beautiful Christmas cards she sent yearly of her beloved family, Rest In Peace my friend, you will surely be missed.

Sara and I worked together for a lot of years at NCH. And with that, became friends. So much laughter, we’d affectionately tease each other on our accents (she did not have one, said she) and when I decided to get my LPN, she painstakingly tutored me in algebra, so I was able to pass! She told me she did math for fun, and fast forward many years, she laughed like heck when she worked with my daughter—a math teacher—at CPS middle school. And we’d always end every conversation with “math for fun!”. My condolences to Sara’s family. She will be truly missed. Teal Miller Beal

Deepest sympathy to Sara's family. I am sure there will be many stories shared about this beautiful person. My story was I worked with her at NCH, but also received care from her while I was pregnant with my son. She was so confident, intelligent, kind, and cared so much for the patients. I am so grateful for her care. I am so sad for this news for her friends and family. She was a wonderful person, and I am sure the is a large hole in many hearts today. I send heartfelt prayers.

I will always treasure Sara's warm smile and 'giggle'. She was an amazing person and a comforting, calm school nurse- so grateful Sara came through my life.

Sara was the best work wife a nurse could ask for. She also took amazing care of my children both in the doctor's office and in the school setting. She made me laugh everyday. My deepest sympathies to Justin, Charlotte, Thomas, her Mom, Aunt Ginny, brother, and to her "group." Sara had the most amazing group of friends that vacationed together, raised children together, and ultimately became family. She was so loved.
