I was very impressed by Joe. His character. His devotion to Gavin. His all around nice guy-ness. And what he has overcome.....we bonded over similar histories, but Joe was clearly much stronger than me, and most people that I know. I hadn't known Joe long, I was looking forward to spending more time with him, and I am grateful to have known him.
