Jane's friend, my mom, Kathleen Ives just passed...I was going through my folks phone list and was looking to give Jane the news, and I am very sad to have instead come across this news of Jane's passing as well. My mom spoke fondly of Jane throughout her life, and though they were both fighting dementia I am pretty sure my Mom mentioned having a call with Jane in 2019 or 2020. I am terribly saddened to hear of Jane's passing. I was her neighbor from 2010 until 2018. We would often chat over the fence laughing and solving the problems of the world. She was an incredibly smart and quick witted friend. I will miss her. My deepest sympathy to Jane's family.

Dear family and friends of Jane, I am very saddened by the news of her passing. She is the one who gave me the courage to do Art in Bloom at the MFA. She also decorated the large wreath over the mayor's office mantel each year as part of my decorating team with Weymouth Garden Club. We will miss her beautiful bows!
