My wonderful cousins, I'm so sad about Aunt Mary's passing. It was a beautiful service. So many wonderful memories in NY and NJ with our parents enjoying each other, signing Danny Boy, Dad and Mary dancing together... I'm sure Dad and Mary are dancing in heaven and Uncle George is telling a joke! Aunt Mary was pure elegance and kindness. I'll always cherish the memories of the 10 of us together and our parents special bond! Love and God's Blessing to you all! Robin Curran Preville

I worked with Mary in Bedford, NY. She indeed was a special lady and I treasured the times we had together both in the office and outside of the office. I am sorry for your loss, but rejoice she knew her savior , Jesus Christ. Blessings to all of her family.

Dear Whelan Family, My deepest condolences on the loss of your mom. She was such a beautiful, polished and put together, warm and kind person, who loved a good laugh. I will always picture her in the beautiful photo Kathy kept of her in her room in college, a black and white photo with her head slightly tilted to the side - she was truly beautiful. My thoughts are with all of you on this difficult loss. Love, Sue Huffard

My heart goes out to the entire Whelan family as you mourn the loss of your mom. Your mom was one of the most thoughtful, fun and special people and I will remember her with many fond (and hilarious) memories of looking at houses together! I am most grateful for her relationship with my mom. They shared a long and special friendship together that not many have the opportunity of having. Sending you all prayers of strength during this difficult time.

I was deeply saddened to learn of your Mom's passing. I have a lifetime of sweet, delightful memories about her. Mary was truly a beautiful, gentlewoman, who lit up every room she entered and who's smile always made one feel special. Yet she was strong and smart in her actions. Determined to be the best and do the best for her family. I shall miss her conversations and the warmth of her regard. I know she is up in heaven now laughing and making everyone feel wonderful! Lizanne, Tara, Chris and Missy, The obituary gave a great glimpse it your Mom and the picture was beautiful. I havee many wonderful memories of both your Mom and Dad and your Mom was so special to me and my brothers, especially at the time when my Dad died and she was such a great counsel and person of strength for our whole family.
