Jerry was a good, kind and loyal friend to have in Jr High school (Grover Cleveland). He also happened to be the best looking guy in the school, which mattered a lot to the girls. In July 2019, we met again for the first time in 53 years. The last time I saw Jerry he was in an almost full body cast at Boston City hospital, recovering from a tragic motor vehicle accident in Dorchester in which he lost a friend. So much of his life I am just discovering in reading these condolences and tributes. Thank you for sharing them. I am not surprised to read that Jerry touched so many peoples lives in both tender and meaningful ways. He did the same for me when we were kids and I do hope I repaid his friendship in the same way. He never changed his way of being. It was an honor and a blessing to know Jerry, and to have shared a friendship with him. I was lucky to have met him. And fortunate to have had him as a friend. How lucky am I? May he rest in peace.

I had only know Jerry & Rose for a short time, but they threw an awesome 50's party here at Plymouth Mobile Estates. People are still talking about this party. Jerry also told us how he met Rose & it was love at first sight. I enjoyed meeting them & saddened by his passing. There is a special place for people like him in heaven.
