Condolences to the Family of Anthony J. Ywoskus

2021

I recall going to Tony’s house every year, same time, every year and could expect the same wonderful experience. I started going with my father and mother way back when I was a child and recall all of my extended family there. There was a party all day long that would continue later that same day, right around the corner. It was a never ending celebration of family alongside a parade that to this day is on most people’s to do list annually. From the outset we were greeted with such warmth from everyone including the hosts, Peggy and Tony. It was and still is a lifelong memory of my existence on this planet and will continue to be forever. I had made such memories as a child that were amazing and I have to thank Tony specifically for allowing all of us to gather. When I was older and had my own children, the tradition was still relevant and renewed for a whole new generation. We had been the children and now we brought our own children to enjoy such hospitality and excitement from the same people who had always provided that wonderful sense of spirit and excitement that had been forgotten by me for a spell. I had the ability to renew my sense of spirit and excitement that I had let go and now was able to experience that same feeling with my children. Some of the participants have passed and some are new but the hosts of the event were a constant. Tony, I will miss the everything you were to so many all of these years. I’ve known you my whole life and you have provided such a wonderful space for me to enjoy life during such important sections of it. You will be missed, we all love you Tony.

Uncle Tony will be missed by many. He was always one of my favorites, with his wisdom he shared or laughs we had. Uncle Tony will be in my thoughts and prayers. Aunty Peggy we love you so much and if you need anything you have an army of family members here for you.
