Condolences to the Family of William J. MacCormack

2022

I worked at Gillette with Billy for almost 40 years. I worked days and he worked nights. When I would come in each morning, he was getting ready to go home and he would always yell "Hey Tommy Boy!" He was always so cordial and friendly and I never saw him down or sad even once in all that time. His close co-worker John Lawson just passed away and I couldn't help but think of Billy. Two great friends and co-workers.

What’s to be said that we all don’t know already. Bill was the best friend anyone could ask for. His big laugh and moustache smile would always brighten the room. He would be the first to lend a hand. For Billy , others came first. Your day would go better whenever you saw him. Bill will be forever missed and thought of. Michelle , Liam and Luke , our prayers and love go out to you sincerely. ♥️♥️♥️

William J. MacCormack. I might not have known him as well, or as long as others. But I do know that he was someone that I enjoyed talking to. I know that he was a husband, a father, and a good one at that. It hurts to know that this has happened and it hurts knowing that I have little to offer for everyone. It hurts that I can only be there for you all and that there isn’t something that I could do to make this better. If you ever need anything you need only ask me. I am so very saddened by this news and the world is a little less bright with his passing.

I had the privilege of working with Billy at Gillette for the last nine years. In that time he taught me a lot of what I know about the job and he did it selflessly. He always had a smile on his face and you could hear his bellowing laugh across the entire plant. I’m extremely saddened by his loss and wish to pass my condolences on to his family, friends and anyone who happened to cross paths with him. He was a great man.
