Condolences to the Family of Martina Frances McCormack

2020

Kym, Heidi and I were so terribly sorry to read of your loss. Such a beautiful person - inside and out! Tina was not only a wonderful role model and compassionate friend to all of you, she was also selfless in her work to help less fortunate others around the world. I know that you will all support each other with stories of happier days gone by, and I like to believe that she will be right there with each one of you. Please know that you and Tina are in our thoughts.

Sending much love and sympathy to Tina's family. What a wonderful, kind, and friendly person she was!. We met through St. Abert's, Weymouth and continued our friendship there and on several occasions at lunch, meetings, "Capitol Steps", etc. I remember one time meeting her on the "T" after a painful procedure at the dentist. We started talking and her interest in the procedure, her calming manner, and her understanding of how I felt made me forget the pain and I felt so much better at the end of the trip. She was such a special person and will be missed.

I am so saddened by the news of Tina’s passing. We were close friends, and became even closer after my ovarian cancer diagnosis, in 2016. Tina was my lifeline. Unfortunately, we had lost contact over the last year. I am greatly sorry for that. I will never forget her! Teri

I met Tina at the MFA. One day while having coffee after a tour; she learned that my niece was at the DFCI and that I was walking over to visit her. Without missing a beat she said to me that she was going that way and would drive me. That's how she was; always caring in her quiet unassuming way. On the drive over, she shared what a wonderful large and caring family she had and how important they were to her. My heart goes out to all of you for your huge loss. She will not be forgotten by those of us in Access.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I feel so fortunate that I had the opportunity to get to know Tina as she worked with us in Access at the MFA. Tina was one of a kind - a heart of gold, an abundance of generosity of spirit and kindness and an ability to make people feel at home and welcome in the Museum. I had already been missing her and her warmth and humor since the MFA closed in March, and will continue to hold her in my heart, with a vision of her smile. Sending you all love. Hannah Goodwin
