It's heartbreaking to say goodbye to Jimmy. We have so many good memories of spending time with him at parties and family functions. Prayers to Theresa and family in these difficult times

I remember spending time with Grandpa Jimmy in the man cave. We would talk, have snacks and watch movies together. He was always so nice. It was like our own little time together. I loved those times the most. I will never forget him. He is with my Mom now and God. He won't be hurting anymore. I will always love you Grandpa Jimmy! I will miss you greatly! We all will be together soon to hold each other and be together. I am so sorry for everyone that loved him so much and that we can't be together. My spirit is with you. I am so sad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am giving my family a big werewolf hug and lots of kisses to you all. I love you!

I'm so very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I worked with Jim years ago in the OCC Boston office. I will always remember his smiling face and kind hearted nature - Heaven now has another angel. My deepest sympathy to Jim's family and friends.

Jimmy Dyer was my cousin and I have known him all my life. He has always been the same - generous, kind, giving and fun to be around. He was one of the most selfless people I have ever known. We have many happy memories as kids when we got together with our cousins - the Dyers, Dohertys and Cadogans. I was able to reconnect with him and Theresa when my mother (Auntie May to Jimmy) moved in with us a few years ago. Jimmy always had a special bond with my parents and we are very thankful for all that Jimmy and Theresa did for my parents. Jimmy touched a lot of people and I for one will miss him. I am thankful his fight is over and will continue to pray for him, his family and those up there with him. Love you, Cousin Eileen Cadogan Allgor

To Jim’s Family - I knew Jim many years working with him at the OTS and the OCC. His warm, sincere, humorous personality defined him; his calm, reliable, and insightful approach to his work made him a great leader. My condolences to you, and I wish you peace in the days ahead.

Jim was an absolute prince of a man. Jim was an inspiration to all of us with his work ethic and love of his family. Working with Jim in Bridgeport and Burlington was my privilege, one that I will never forget. We loved discussing sports, politics and the mob not to mention the issues at work; often bouncing trivia questions off one another. Jim was always upbeat and full of energy. After a long day at the bank, many times we met for dinner or went to the Bridgeport Bluefish ball game. After our Bridgeport assignment, our paths crossed all too rarely, usually in NYC, meeting at Sparks for a steak dinner or the Mets game. When learning of his illness, Jim was always positive and faced it like the fighter he was, determined to beat it and he gave it a heck of a fight. My deepest sympathy to Theresa and the rest of Jim's family on your loss. Jim was one in ten million and will be missed terribly. I am honored to have known and been a colleague of Jim, and that he considered me a friend. Neal

Jimmy, you fought a brave and valiant battle against cancer and we all have learned how to act with grace and dignity in our time of God's calling. May God now hold in his loving embrace and ultimate safety until the day when we are all united again in Heaven and can share that same gift.

I met Jim in December of 2017 shortly after joining the OCC. We immediately bonded and spent many hours over the course of that month conversing and learning more about each other well beyond work hours. He talked a lot about his family and shared many stories as did I. Although that was the last time we crossed paths, I made a valued friend which is rare in this world. Jim made a lasting impression on me and he will be truly missed.
