Our houses were back to back , I now live in Sturbridge, Ma, and just found out about His death and if possible would like to be notified when there will be any type of service/function to be held That I could attend to pay my respects .???? My deepest condolences to the Dewey family for your tremendous loss. I shared many conversations over breakfast at the local diner with Dan and a few other gentlemen over the last few years, talking politics and college football. Rest in peace, Dan. I shall think of you often - most especially when I watch Notre Dame football! A life well-lived, my friend. - Steve Durkin

I am very saddened to hear of Dan’s passing. I worked with Dan for several years at the Parole Board. Dan was unquestionably a real professional at his work. But more importantly, he was a straight shooter. My vivid recollection of our time together about twenty years ago was that he was one of the most genuine persons l’ve ever worked with. I am the better for having spent those years with him.

Dear Kathy, I am so sorry about Dan's passing. Both of you were so kind when Kevin died giving your support and kindness and more recently when Larry died. I was grateful to you both. I will be thinking of you and your family in the days to come. Memories and family will get you through this. Hopefully these times will pass and we will be seeing each other again. My love and prayers go out to you.

I am saddened beyond belief by my cousin Danny's passing and I want his wife and children, his grandchildren and his siblings to know that I am thinking of them and praying for him at this terrible time. He was one of my older cousins and I always loved him for his kindness and his generosity to me and to others. I will never forget the many good times I was able to share with Danny, and, most especially, our times together with all of the Murdocks in North Conway. Margaret (Curnane) Hahesy

We are grateful, not only for his service to his country, but for the many contributions he made to Quincy and the greater community -- especially for our veterans. The Marines’ Hymn closes with: “If the Army and the Navy ever look on Heaven’s scenes, they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines” and I have no doubt that Dan is already on duty at his new station. Semper Fi, Dan, and thank you for your lifetime of service, both in military and civic life.

So sorry to hear of Daniel Dewey’s passing. He was in my class at the Immaculate Conception School in Marlborough. I remember him as a very likable and pleasant person. Condolences to his family. God bless his soul.
