My name is Al Varraso, also from Braintree and I worked with Bill as a boilermaker apprentice in the boiler shop back in the late fifty. I worked with his dad also, like Bill, both were a fine people. Bill was always easy going and very supportive in helping me during my apprenticeship, for that I will always be grateful. He was a 4th year apprentice and I was 1st year. Whenever I had a problem I went to Bill or his dad and they would show me how to solve it. I am sorry I cannot attend his wake but I think you can understand why. I offer my condolences to you and yours and may God Bless you.
