RICHARD WAS A CHILDHOOD FRIEND OF MINE WHO I NEVER FORGOT. I ONLY REGRET I NEVER DID GET TO SEE HIM BEFORE HE PASSED. I AM HAPPY WE DID CONNECT IN THE PAST TEN YEARS. HIS BIRTHDAY IS COMING UP APRIL 13TH. HE LET ME KNOW HE WAS BORN EXACTLY ONE MONTH AHEAD OF ME. ALSO HE WAS MY CLASSMATE AT GATE OF HEAVEN. SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS ROSEMARY AND FAMILY.

So sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I worked with him back in the mid 80's at the Roslindale PO. I transfered to N. Quincy (still working) and would see Dick on occasion walking up to Norfolk down's and I would stop and catch up on things with him. Always a gentleman and nice guy.

I knew and worked with Dickie ( which is what most of us called him ) on and off for 30 yrs in Purity/stop and Shop. You could not find a single person that had a bad word about him...he was a great man and gentleman .We had a fun time with Dickie,he was always in a great mood even after working his 70 hr weeks.Even in his 80s he still could outwork most 40 yr olds, he never lost his great work ethic or his great demeanor.Dickie grew up with my fathers family and everyone of them said he was the same as a kid.We are better having known you Dickie RIP..My condolances to Dickies family and friends.
