Shana is among angels now. Those of us who knew her, we know what that's like.

Me & Mrs Cobban. I was Shana’s roommate at USC freshman and sophomore year. I just wanted to send you my love and thoughts. Although I lost touch with Shana over the years, there is no way to forget her fierce loyalty to her friends, her sassiness and just wonderful humor. I am devastated for your loss. My love and deepest sympathies for you and the rest of your family.

So very sad to hear of Shana's passing. She was strong and funny, wonderful qualities. My thoughts to her family at this time. What a brave one she was. Not many know of her struggles since she held her head high. Peace be with all who mourn her loss. And peace to Shana.

Dear Cobban Family, I send you all so much love during this time. I have so many fond memories of being with each of you in your home while hanging out with Shana. Last night I went through albums of pictures of Shana and our friends from middle school and high school- mostly from science trips on Cape Cod, Belize, etc. She was a dear friend with an intelligence, creativity, and spirit that was unforgettable. She shaped my life in Quincy in so many ways. I am so grateful to have known her.
