I was so lucky to have spent a lot of time in Jaxon's 3rd grade class and Shalie's 1st grade class. These children are so sweet, creative, caring, and funny. That is a wonderful testament to the wonderful family they are from. As much as my heart is absolutely broken with the passing of this beautiful boy. I feel blessed to have spent so much time with Jaxon and to have seen first hand how much he adored his family with his writings, drawings, and stories. Jaxon, take great care of your baby sister, Mom, and Grandma. I know you will be their forever protector. Rest easy sweet boy, and thank you for sharing so many silly moments with me. You will have a place in my heart forever. To my sweet little friend Shalie. I am SO SORRY sweetheart! You have four of the most beautiful guardian angels watching over you, Skylar, your Dad and your Grandpa. If you and your family ever need a break, you know I have the best/worst jokes around ❤️ The Smith-Fay Family .... please lean on your family, friends, and even the strangers in your community. We are all here for you.. forever. My heart is broken for each and every one of you. God Bless your beautiful family

Scarlett was one of my students at Busy Bee as an infant and a toddler. She was such a sweet and loving little girl who made every day better. The entire Smith family were an absolute pleasure to be around. I am so so sorry for your loss Shane, Shalie, and Skylar. My heart is absolutely broken.

Scarlett was our daughter’s best friend at Merry Deb. Our whole family is devastated!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!! Scarlett will live on in our daughter always.
