To the family of George, I was an old school mate with George. We reconnected maybe 10 years before he died, and I enjoyed this connection, even though we lived on the other side of the country. I was the one who made the photograph for Katie. I had sent George a number of emails over the last few years, but I never received any replies, which I thought was unusual, and I have only just found his obituary. I am very sorry to hear it. I enjoyed his friendship. I wish all of you happiness.

My dear friend George, the journey we travelled over the past 55 years will be etched in my mind forever! You were a fabulous person, musician and friend! you will be missed by many and I know you are in good hands now so, rest in peace old friend and may God bless you...
