Mr Ridge would lead football games with us during recess at Damon school. I remember his ‘drop kicks’ and how they were not the traditional ‘punts’ but would seem to go for 100yards! He was a very nice man and ran a ‘tight ship’.

I’m sorry for the loss of Jim. He was a remarkable man. Sorry I didn’t attend but just found out. You both were great friends of my patents and myself. He’ll be missed. With wavering heart. Bill Krall

Such a sweet and thoughtful man. Even when he was in the hospital, Jim remembered my chocolate covered strawberries. He said They were from Al. He was a good friend, coming over to play cribbage with Al when he was too sick to go out. I will miss your smiling face.
