To the Gillooly family I am very sorry for your loss. I had the privilege to work with Bob as a campus police officer at Long Island. Bob was a true gentleman and a loyal friend kind to everyone he met in life. I will always remember our debates on politics which usually ended in laughter when I callled Bob a “liberal hippy”. In closing I will always cherish our patrol rounds and our time spent together. I learned a lot from Bob on politics, union issues, and family values, for that I will always be grateful. Rest In Peace my friend.
