Our sincere condolences and prayers to you Lou and Your Family on the passing of Mary. We became very close and I remember many happy hours at your home with your Family in the 70's and early 80's during my frequent business visits that sometimes lasted some 14 days. You, Mary & the Family provided me a home from home during these visits, that I can never forget. Our Families eventually all met upon our move to the USA in 1985. May you come to peace with your loss and Mary rest in peace....

So sad to hear of your loss. Will always remember all of you being the first "Americans" we ever really met when the Howard boys got off the plane in Boston back in 1985:) I remember visiting your house like it was yesterday. Lou, Suzanne, Mary Elizabeth and Jeanne... please accept my sincere sympathy and condolences.

I first met Lou when he was a visiting guest of the small company I worked for a soon to be sold.small company. I have not seen Lou for a long time but have thought of him often as he showed overwhelming support and friendship following my nervous move to the U.S.A. Lou and his sweetheart wife Mary lived in Norfolk at the time and always made me welcome. Mary will be sadly missed - God bless her.

Dear Lou and family, I was very saddened to see this message this morning. Thank you for letting me know. I hope that you find the strength and support during this time, to grieve and to remain strong. Mary's suffering with this disease is over and she is in peace. In the time that I knew Mary, even though she was already ill, she was so kind, good-spirited, and generous. I know that that spirit and her memory will live on through her family and friends. Mary made a valiant effort in her struggle and you were by her side through every minute of it. It gave me some joy to read her brief obituary online- that she loved being with her family, being a mother, and that she always had a smiling face. We need to continue every effort we have to understand and find better ways to treat these dementias. The CurePSP is an excellent organization committed to that cause. I will continue to do that on my end. Kindly and my deepest condolences, Seth Alan Gale, MD

Mary Bridget was my mother's best friend. She was a wonderful sister, wife, mother, grandmother and an amazing aunt. She had a heart of gold. She always knew how to make you feel better even when she was having a bad day. She helped me in so many ways there are too many to list. She welcomed everyone with open arms. I will never forget how special she made the holidays. She brought us all together as a family for many celebrations. My heart goes out to her family. Thank you Aunt Mary for being in my life. Thank you for the wonderful memories.
