I am so glad Bob and I had a conversation a couple of weeks ago...….and of course, he was talking about his family and the Maine vacation. He was SO PROUD of his family. He was so loved and will be missed by many. Sending love and hugs to all my "Noble" friends.

I had the distinct honor of knowing and working with Mr. Noble when I was a Quincy High administrator several years ago. He was always the true definition of an unassuming gentleman who served our Country honorably and always gave of himself tirelessly to his family and community. A true American hero in military and civilian life, he will remain a model of what is the Greatest Generation. God keep you, sir, and bless each of your family members.

The Good Lord called a great soldier to serve in heaven. An amazing man who taught so much to so many and always took the time to talk and even catch a selfie! There are few who left footprints like Bob's. And no one else who may fill the hearts of those who love him. Godspeed kind and generous sir!

Bob was a gentle man and a gentleman. Always a strong supporter of the VA Advisory Committee on Former Prisoners of War, he enabled us to productively work for change to benefit all of us returnees. He was a source of strength through patience and good humor. He shall be missed. RIP Richard A Stratton - Former Chairman (1989-1995)
