Dear George and family, I was talking to Kathy last week and I was thinking about all the cakes Peggy has made over the years. Her memory will live on throughout the pages of family photo albums. Birthdays, graduations, baby showers, bridal showers! What a wonderful legacy to know that she shared a small but joyful part in so many happy occasions over the years. She sure made a delicious cake! What I will remember more is her unwavering kindness. She never missed an opportunity to be a helper. We need more helpers in this world. She will be missed. I have been thinking about Peggy for the past few days. She was such a sweetheart and a wonderful, beautiful lady. She made my girls birthday cakes when they were little. I worked with Peg at Schooners for many years. Very rarely did she not have a big smile on her face, even when things were crazy at the restaurant. She will be missed by so many people including me. “Perhaps what we see in the sky at night are not stars, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy and in peace.” My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Peggy was a beacon of light in Hull. She embodied the community spirit and was kind and generous to everyone who crossed her path.
