Rest in piece my dear friend. You will always remain in hearts.

"Donny" was an exceptional man and friend. We became friends through Sam Elfman, and John and he enjoyed the common bonds of serving in the Air Force, history, Odd Fellows and the gun club. Sherry met Donny, also through Sam, and, subsequently, his wife Christine. We enjoyed many good times together, and came to appreciate Donny always being there with a funny comment, a timely gift or an offer of support. He will be truly missed. God bless you Donny.

Our sincerest condolences to all the family. Don was very instrumental in helping Second Amendment Sisters find a home in MA. He was an untiring supporter and mentor! We nicknamed him our “Godfather!” Encouraging and supporting and always giving. We are heartbroken and will miss this great patriot dearly! All our love forever. Second Amendment Sisters of Ma

I met Don through the Sons of the American Revolution - Don joined in 2015 and was an active member immediately. Don was generous with his time, and quickly became involved in the Boston chapter and state society. He had a deep, heartfelt love of our country, was a self-taught scholar of the Constitution, and a presence in his community. My sincere condolences to the entire Kusser family on your loss of Don. May he rest in peace.

Don was a good friend and VP of our Braintree Rifle and Pistol Club and a defender of the 2nd amendment and our Constitution. Thru his Odd Fellows lodge he secured a permanent yearly donation to Plimoth Plantation for the restoration of the ship Mayflower II. Don you'll always be remembered, especially for your hard work in the things you truly believed in! George
