I have many happy memories of John in Ireland. I remember my last trip to Boston with very happy memories. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for him. Eternal rest grant onto him O Lord, let perpetual light shine upon him, May he rest in peace, Amen.

Darragh and Sean and family. I send my deepest condolences to you all. I have never had the privilege to meet your dad. All I know is he must have been a great man. I know that because he raised two great men to follow in his footsteps.

So sorry to hear of Johnny's passing. I was a regular "client" of his during his days at the Claddagh, and remember his droll sense of humor fondly. Despite my display of no inherent talent whatsoever, he invited me to join the bar's dart team, and his joyful encouragement (along with that from some Guinness) made me a passable shot. So many memories....
