To all Foy children, So sorry to read of my cousin Bob's passing. I've been out of state in Oregon, am sorry I was not able to attend. My mother Helen Foy Upton was Bobs aunt. I have fond memories of my Uncle Ed and Aunt May. Prayers are with you .

Bob, Mary, and Geralyn - all dear. We just heard of Bob's passing. Of course, we knew it would happen, but I have to say that I, personally, was so saddened. There are few people in life, at least in mine, where a smile, a nod, or a quick word is just the approbation to fill my heart. Bob was one of those people, as was Sis. With Sis though, I expected nothing but empathy and an outlay of care. With your Dad, I was always looking for that wry smile that put me on notice that he knew me - and he STILL liked me. I probably don't have to tell you how much your Dad - Ed & Mae's boy - meant to my Dad. Dad was so proud of Bob's life, family and work - and a little envious of his success staying in Quincy. Personally, I loved your Mom & Dad and hope their leave-taking has left you with some gratification of being heirs to lives so well-lived. Know that all the Michigan Foys - from Dud and Geraldine - are with you now and share your loss.
