I am so very sorry that Marie has passed and that I am unable to attend services. She was a very special person.

Our sympathy to all the Kenerson family.Dennis Jeremy and I will miss the gall next door. We went through ups and downs for over a decade. Our doors were always opened. I will especially miss her welcoming smile and soft loving voice.Sanibel for me will have an empty spot without my friend. May she rest in the arms of the angels with her beloved John

I had the great fortune to have Marie as my neighbor on Sanibel Island. Additionally, I was able to meet many of her family members. It was easy to see how wonderfully she impacted all of their lives and the love they, in turn, gave back to her. Gracious, lovely, warm, loving and kind are a few of the words that come to mind when I think of Marie. She will be missed by many and certainly I will be one. Blessings to all who mourn her.

Jacqui and I will always remember Marie and John. I especially remember Her husband John looking for our cat Lester after a heavy rain and bringing Lester to say hello to John after he came home on his own dry as toast. Marie always had the odd project for me with various pieces of furniture out of her home and I always enjoyed stopping and chatting on her porch before and after each 'project'. This is a beautifully written tribute to a beautiful and graceful lady. The Kenersons were wonderful neighbors on Allerton Hill for many years, and the McGowans will truly miss her!
