Hi Alicia, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband. All my sympathy to you.
Donna S. SmithDear Alicia, I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was such a nice man who I know will be sorely missed by you, Bob, Will and Nancy, to say nothing of his precious grandchildren and all family members. Liz was telling me about some of your beautiful memories which, I am sure, will be carried in your heart like the treasures they are. I offer prayers for the repose of Bill's soul and for all of you all as you struggle through this sad time. Fondly, Marie

Mary FitzIt was sad to hear that Bill had passed. I remember growing up in Squantum and having Bill as a friend. He was always upbeat and had a great sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with Bill and his family. Regards Gerry C.
Gerry ConnollyAlways kind, always genuine, always a gentleman. There will never be another Bill Gardner, but I thank God I was able to know this one. Rest in peace Bill.
Paula CerilliBill was one of a kind. I would stop in the juvenile clerks office whether I had business there or not just to talk with him. Sometimes it was serious talk, but usually it was to bust on each other. Many times we ended up talking about our families and he was very proud when talking about his- especially as a grandfather. My condolences to his family, very sad.
Dave AveryMy thoughts and prayers are with Alicia and the family. Growing up in Squantum and hanging around Bill, playing ball, street hockey, trips to New York City, Bill was an important part of my younger life. So,many good stories, laughs and memories. May God be with you Bill, hope we meet again.
Steve DonagheyBack in the day on Hovey Street Billy, as we called him, was one of the guys that we all looked up to. I was 4 years younger than Billy and we all wanted to be like him. I haven't had contact with him for years but I have such great memories. Celebrate his life.

Nanette BarrettMr. Gardner was an outstanding friend, coach, role model, and mentor to my siblings and I growing up in Squantum. Whether he was helping out with youth baseball or football, he always was respectful and inspiring. He will be sorely missed. I hope that you all find comfort in this time and I am deeply sorry for your loss.
