I'm so very sorry for your loss and thinking of you during this difficult time.

Words are almost meaningless. It is clear by the number of friends and family that have connected with all of you during this battle that PJ was special. Amazing that I knew him for almost for almost 40 years. I spent at least 6 years at Central and the High School sharing the same homeroom and so many fun times at parties and outings. I can remember the night we got caught pulling an all-nighter at one of Sarah Bush's parties. He was not allowed to go to the Bad Company concert after that event (but we had so much fun!). The thing I remember most about PJ is his attitude (positive). He was always able to laugh and smile no matter the circumstances. We were both in crow point with our young families and he was dealing with some tough times - but he still smiled and laughed. When he started fighting the battle with cancer he was still full of smiles and he put people at ease. He was an inspiration. I will always remember him fondly and I look forward to getting together with all his friends and sharing PJ stories. I wish you all the best.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Cappella & Family, It was with deep sorry that I learned of Paul's passing. I have many fond memories of our cheering on the boys in football and basketball over the years. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. May he rest in peace. Blessings, Ed & Andrea Barr

This world lost an exciting and loving father and friend. I remember all the nights I slept over with Margaux and we would ask PJ to take us to McDonalds and out to the movies really late at night and he was always more than happy. I remember freezing nights with Margaux and Paul and my mom on the foodball field, and long rides home from our brothers far away basketball games. I'll be praying for the whole family during this time.

I wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss, PJ was a great guy, and he has been and will be truly missed at Saturday morning hockey. Hang in there, and always remember no matter how much his loss hurts he is now comfortable and cancer free looking down and taking care of all of you.
