Dear Jen: I am so glad i got to spend the day with you and Patrick on Friday before. Patrick and Eric were laughing and having fun all day regardless of the circumstances. It was so good just hanging out. Patrick was a gentle soul, and so handsome. Eric and i are in shock. I am so very, very sorry. I do not even know how to begin to express my feelings. Love goes on, and Patrick will go on. He was a really good human. With Love
MargieJennifer, Colleen & Family, I cannot comprehend how difficult this time must be for you all. I am so, so sorry. Know that we are all thinking of you, and wishing you strength as you deal with so much grief. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. In thinking about your loss, I would like to leave you with the quoted words of the poet Ellen Brenneman, “We can’t know why the lily has so brief a time to bloom in the warmth of sunlight’s kiss upon its face before it folds into its fragrance and bids the world good night to rest its beauty in a gentler place. But we can know that nothing that is loved is ever lost and no one who has touched a heart can really pass away because some beauty lingers on in each memory of which they’ve been a part.” RIP Patrick, we all miss you.
