Condolences to the Family of James F. Doherty, Jr.

2016

Peggy and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Jim was such a wonderful, fun-loving guy who enjoyed life and welcomed anyone into his world. He had no problem whatsoever being the only guy hanging out with "the girls", and he was such a pleasure to be around, just like his beautiful wife. I will treasure my memories of him, as I'm sure you all will too. Love, Susie Mullin

I went to Christopher Columbus High School with Jim. I sat beside him our senior year. We had a lot of fun. He even introduced me to my senior prom date just before the prom. Even our professional lives were very similar. I worked as a government auditor too and for an accounting firm later. I was deeply saddened to read the notice. I often thought of Jim during the last 50 years, hoping one day I would see him again. I extend my sincerest condolences to Jim's family during this time. We all lost a wonderful person and dear friend. Jerry Coogan

Dear Peggy and family, I am so saddened to hear of Jim's passing. I loved working with him at MacDonald & McEachern, he was always a bright spot in the day. I loved listening to his stories...my favorite was about his polyester jumpsuit that he wore out clubbing during his single days! What a visual that was...so funny! He was always a gentleman and would always offer to go out and start my car and brush it off on snowy days. I know how much he loved you and his children...he talked about them all the time. He was so very proud of you all. I am happy that Jim was a part of my life. I pray that you all find comfort in your happy memories of days spent together. With my deepest sympathy, Pam Ryan xo

Wayne and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family. At times like these it is difficult to accept such a loss. We have to put our Trust and Faith in God at these times and understand that he has a reason for needing him in Heaven now. We should try to remember that while Jim has gone from here and left his loved ones in sorrow, he is now whole and happy in the arms of our Father in Heaven. Look to the sky to find the new star God has created in his honor. May you be able to look for that star and know that Jim is happy and whole and watching over you from Heaven. May you always find comfort in knowing that you can speak to him from within heart and that he will always be listening. May you find solace in all of the good times and memories made and shared. May your memories bring you Peace, Comfort and Strength. God bless you All. Wayne & Dottie Lewis & Family
